This elegant Georgian house is set amidst a private park and was designed by the architect Decimus Burton.
Careful restoration of several of the main reception rooms has offered a subtle update to a magnificent property.
The kitchen was completely redesigned and during the restoration of the adjoining dining room, the fireplace was opened up to offer a through fire chamber.
Giselle designed the fire surround in the dining room during its renovation - it was a more contemporary addition to the house. A mild steel frame was recessed into the facia and original brick and stone work left uncovered. She used reclaimed timber as a feature in the same room.
Giselle designed the kitchen garden, several reception areas, as well as the dressing room and master bedroom which features fabric walling and a bespoke pencil post bed, also designed by Giselle.
Mixing antique finds with newer pieces, bespoke furniture and usual finishes, ensures a combination of design for a truly unique property with a bohemian vibe.
